This role refers to a Metrics Engineer, responsible for designing and implementing reports and metrics for TG Infrastructure based on customer requirements. The person ensures that with the information we increase the transparency around cost, compliance, capacity and performance. He seeks constantly to improve the level of automation in order to reduce maintenance resources. The holder of this role serves TG infrastructure and operations teams.
Responsibilities:
- Capturing, analyzing and categorizing IT requirements from internal customer
- Carrying out proof-of-concept work and making sure the designed platform solution can be implemented and maintained
- Set and apply standard BI technologies
- Improve IT infrastructure in order to optimize and automate maintenance
- Communication with senior stakeholders
- Ensure that in respect of all matters in the role, (including the planning and delivery of work), the understanding and compliance with all the company policies, practices and statements relating to risk, compliance and confidentiality
- Anticipate, identify and manage risk issues in accordance with those policies, practices and statements and escalate risk issues to the appropriate management level or committee as necessary
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science or similar
- Experience in Database, ETL and BI design and implementation
- Knowledge of Code Development, in more detail: Script and web development
- Experience in producing metrics
- Experience in Microsoft BI platform. SQL Server, C#, SSIS, SSRS as well as Microsoft web development using .NET solutions
- Familiar with complex IT infrastructure
- The ability and the will to travel
